Greetings from PA

Thought I'd follow the friendly prompt and say hello. I stumbled on this site while trying to find a resolution to a starting problem with my F250.
Up until recently I was driving a 2004 F250 Crew with a 5.4 l 3v engine.
Now all I can do it start it and watch it stall after ten seconds.
I guess I should post some detail in one of the F250 forums, once I get familiar with the site.

Thanks

Thanks Smokey.
I'll post what I know here, then maybe it'll need to move to another forum.
The truck is a 2004 F250 with the 5.4 L 3V. I've put about 60K miles on it sofar.

After a 600 mile drive I parked the truck for four days. The next time I went to start it, it fired up strong as ever, then stalled before ten seconds. I thought I could shotgun the problem, so I replaced the fuel filter, then replaced the fuel pump after the filter made no change. I checked the voltage at the fuel pumps fuse (12v) before starting, then (~14v) after. I'm thinking it may have something todo with a fuel pump relay, but I can't seem to get a fix on its location. I'm told under the hood drivers side (found it) and I'm told behind the stereo (found it).

That's my story for now.

Welcome to the site! Have you had any battery issues? Charging system problems?

Thanks everybody for the welcome and the suggestions. Thank you Blacksnapon for the notice, but I was able to correct the problem by reading some previous posts of the 5.4L engine forum. Looks like the idle air control was stuck closed and not allowing the engine to idle. By flooring the accelerator several times, I was able to free the module and keep the engine running.

Thanks again

Ernie
