Welcome! I'm new to the forum myself. I lived in Montgomery and worked in Conroe for 6 months last year and really enjoyed the place. I lived out by Lake Conroe. Was a lot of fun.

That would have been me; I run from Conroe to Huntsville every day for work but I've got a Red camper shell on it now..

I made the move to Conroe for a job and it's the same reason I left - another job, among other things. I really enjoyed it there though.

Lake Conroe

I actually rented a condo right on the lake. But when I left in late November, the lake was down so far that there was no water under the boat slips at the condo complex. I lived in Walden, on River Rd.

If I was there and had a metal detector I would have done some digging.
