We don't live too far apart, I'm in Boyd.Greetings from DFW, TX. New to the site and to Ford trucks. Been driving a '91 Corolla around for the past 6 years and finally gave up the ghost. Picked up a '91 and so far I'm happy with the decision. I bought it knowing it was going to need a rebuild on the engine, so expect another thread soon as this will be the first time I've attempted an engine rebuild.
So far I'm liking it here. Seems like a friendly enough crowd and most don't seem to mind taking a good natured ribbing.
You and your short beds.
And QUIT TALKING ABOUT ME.......i'm not that bad!
Btw, welcome to the site, enjoy the site, and join in on the fun![]()
Excellent! Maybe you can tell me where I can find a decent parts store that's not Auto Zone or O'Rielly's.
It's slim pickins in this neck of the woods. If either one of those can't help I go to a dealer or wreckingyard. We do have a small one in Boyd that can get just about anything you want, but they can be expensive.Excellent! Well.. yeah you pretty hit the nail on the head bob...Been reading for several days now. You seem to have an... unhealthy fascination for short beds.![]()
Bob rulesKeep him? Hell, I think Tex already adopted him...
Hahaha this guy will fit in PERFECT. He's already done his research about Tex's disgusting fetish for shortbeds![]()

I hated to see the Carquest bite the dust. This little one here is an Ace hardware/ auto parts store. The guy that runs it is a chebby man but he knows a little about fords.Since CarQuest went OOB it's just them two in Azle and another O'Rielly's in Springtown. Ah well. Seems the day of the independent parts shops, or parts shops that staff knowledgeable people have come and gone.![]()
BTW, What's the rules on Drunk Posting. Got ran off of the last forum I joined for typing while under the influence.
I won't care.. Unless your a "O" lover![]()
So long as I don't start developing a deep seeded fascination with short beds I don't think you'll have to worry too much.![]()
O'Reilly's purchased Checker Auto Parts last year.
Checker also owned Kragens and oh Shucks.
Now....all are owned by O'Reilly's.
