Greetings from DFW, TX. New to the site and to Ford trucks. Been driving a '91 Corolla around for the past 6 years and finally gave up the ghost. Picked up a '91 and so far I'm happy with the decision. I bought it knowing it was going to need a rebuild on the engine, so expect another thread soon as this will be the first time I've attempted an engine rebuild.

So far I'm liking it here. Seems like a friendly enough crowd and most don't seem to mind taking a good natured ribbing.

We don't live too far apart, I'm in Boyd.

If you were here, i'd point ya to the speed shop over in salina, but all depends on the parts you want or need. Might have to go to Tex for a good parts store down there.

It's slim pickins in this neck of the woods. If either one of those can't help I go to a dealer or wreckingyard. We do have a small one in Boyd that can get just about anything you want, but they can be expensive.

I hated to see the Carquest bite the dust. This little one here is an Ace hardware/ auto parts store. The guy that runs it is a chebby man but he knows a little about fords.

Ya, and out here in No Man's Land, if you're older than 20 and have an IQ higher than a mosquito, you can't get a job at O'Reilly's. At least the manager, Jim, at the Auto Zone knows what he's talking about and can help identify problems. I just don't like the "cheapness" of the parts.

CarQuest was always good for good parts at decent prices. I like Napa, but they're proud of their stuff and price it accordingly. And there's not one close by.
