Removed my clutch fan and replaced it with an electric fan from a taurus-- it's a pretty popular mod amongst off-roaders and stang drivers. Picks up a couple horsies and maybe a little bit of gas mileage from eliminating the rotational drag of the mechanical fan.

And no I don't believe I did a write-up for it...

..... with 2.73 gears. I don't think it could lay rubber if she tried, lol.

Good God, driving around town in second and third.....................and no wonder that it would suck starting from a stop.

Pretty funny--

So he's never had a tach in the truck until I gave him the one for Christmas... He gets on the freeway after installing it, to see what RPMs he's been running at 65mph all these years. Thought he had been around 2000+ rpm, and finds that he's only pushing 1600

Those 2.73 gears are crazy. He's running 1600 in OD while I'm running about 2000 in OD with my 4.10s + 33s.

I thought the same thing I thought I was running in the 3k area with no OD and when I put my tach on i'm running under 2,500 doing 70mph 2.70s rule! but man you can kinda forget a good launch time...

...but I drive one everyday, it ain't no picnic when your stuck in traffic an hour or more and your clutch foot is dying for a break.
I used to until this past weekend.

Driving in Sacramento I learned powershift and pick a gear that I can run with w/o having to clutch/shift...
