Got some new stuff put on!

Well, I finally bit the bullet and ditched the stock alcoa looking wheels, and went with some different stuff! Let me know what ya'll think!

The top pic was a couple days after I bought it, the bottom pic was 3 days ago after I had the new wheels put on.

And, these are the wheels I finally decided on. American Eagle 058's in 15x10" with 3.650" of backspacing which put the offset at -46mm. It was almost impossible to find out what people were running, so there you have it, that is the wheel and backspacing my truck is sitting on.

Meant to say, this was over a span of 13 months, looking at the pics now, of the solid axle swap, and the whole transformation of this truck in general almost seems surreal to me now. But, I love it! All the hard work paid off!

Thanks amkatt! It isn't done yet though, just ran outta time this year. I rely on this thing to get me to work with the harsh winters we have here sometimes. So, a lot of the changes i'll be making to it will have to hold out till next spring.

Thanks fellas! I think i've completely fallen for this truck. No matter what, all I can think about is my next round of mods. I had originally planned on doing a turbo small block set-up, but i've decided to just go all out and go with a 460 big block/c6 set-up, and some more lift, most likely a 4-link set-up out back, and 3-link up front.

Guess I didn't realize these wheels were so popular, but they really seemed to give the truck a nice balance, which is what I was looking for!
