Fuel Line Pinch Test

Does anyone know if you can pinch closed a steel braided fuel line for a test on a 1995 and the fuel line would be OK when you release the pinch off tool?
Is there a rubber hose or a plastic one under the steel braid?

I don't recomend it, it's probably a hard plastic line under there.

When pump stops running the pressure drops near zero almost immediately.
To find out if it is the one of the two FDM in the tanks or the FPR or injectors.

There should be a snap lock connector (possibly by the p/s pump). You might disconnect it and try to plug it off somehow (theres a special tool to do it)

I would think if an injector was leaking that bad the truck would run poor.
