Ahha, yall are really behind the times out there aren't ya?smilietease

I always feel behind, being on the west coast. Round 11 or so, its 2 over on the east side, so it gets rather boring on the internet

Tell ya what get a CC longbed 4x4 if ya can find one or make one and then put a topper on it and cut out the front of the bed and back of the cab, make it nice and smooth and there ya have it.

And the first time it got any kind of frame flex the top and the cab would rip apart whatever it was you used to "make it nice and smooth".

First off...they never made a CC 4x4 long bed...just short beds in the dentside era.

Correct, all 4wd crews used a shortbed and had a WB of 150", 2wd's were available in a short bed, 150"WB or a long bed, 167"WB. You could of also just gotten the cab and chassis configuration to put a flat or stake bed on it.

I just saw one of these a couple weeks ago down the road from where I work. It had a pre-78 grille on it and was some sort of aqua green/blue. It looked like it was in really nice shape. I'd love to have a four-door dentside bronk, or even a 90's four door would be cool. I've seen a lot of those.

i knew of a CC in NC for $2000 bucks, and a bronc would be cheap...

you could make a $5000 bronco cc no prob......

I beg to differ on that one Matt...the vehicles may be $5000...but then you have another $10k in labor. Dunno about you, but I don't really think I have the expertise for a project like that...so I'd have to pay that $10k. On top of that...you're not really looking for 'decent' vehicles when you do something like this...unless you're willing to do/pay for the body work. So really, if you're going to do this RIGHT...it's gonna take $5k in a CC and another $3-4K in a Bronco and/or body work. So all in all, you're looking at a minimum of of $20-25k if you don't do anything yourself.
