Ford equivilent of suburban

Ok so I was really bored in class today, and got to thinking about random things. Being as ford never made anything in the way of a full size SUV back in the 70's, like chebbys suburban, could someone make one? Because all a suburban is is a extended crew cab. So my idea is to do what ford never did: Take a crew cab, cut the back of the cab, out, and join it with the back of a bronco. Id obviously do it right, do all the correct body work, ect. Presto, the ford equivalent of a suburban.

My second question is, what would I call it?

Tell ya what get a CC longbed 4x4 if ya can find one or make one and then put a topper on it and cut out the front of the bed and back of the cab, make it nice and smooth and there ya have it.

Thers a company that does that and stretches frames for limos and stuff but I cant remember the name of it.

First off...they never made a CC 4x4 long bed...just short beds in the dentside era.


Secondly...there are looooooots of dentside 4 door broncos around. There's a guy who might be on this site...he has a sky blue 79 ford Bronco. I;ve seen a couple in person before, one was black and the other was 'gold'. You may wanna check out www.fourdoorbronco.com They've got a few members with them.

Can I get the first one in english? I realized that they didnt make CC longbeds after I posted that. Did Ford make them four door broncos or are they custom.
