There's no way... To many issues and it's a not even 4x4.. And why do you think it's an 351m? They're weren't in these trucks after 81..

I'm sorry but I can get a nice factory 4x4 truck for 2500... Not some frankensteined truck..

I'm not trying to be rude or start ****... Just stating my honest opinion

Because the motor was put in after the truck originally had a 460. but thanks anyways. the bed alone is worth $1000 tires and rims are worth $800.. i can get the $2500.. thanks for the reply.. the truck is rust free..

I just bought a rust free 95 Eddie Bauer f 150 4x2. I paid $600 for it. Your truck is 10 years older, and don't run. What makes you think it's worth that?

I'm not being smart, I just want to know, In case I decide to sell the 95.

It does run. runs great actually..... Has a issue with the key switch.. and it needs a Clutch Fork to drive.. thats it! It has over $800 in wheels and tires..Has over $500 in chrome bumpers ,brush guard, running boards...and the truck Is completely Rust free...95's are a dime dozen.. Try to find a rust free 85 with nice paint.. Thanks but If you dont like the asking price keep just keep your 2 cents worth to your self.. Thanks for you concern! smilieFordlogo

Dude seriously, check the attitude. They called you out because things didn't seem to add up...

Also, the price you paid for something doesn't mean squat. Just because you've dumpped a bunch of cash into something doesn't mean you've increased the value of the rig, beefy tires wrapped around a shiny set of wheels, new chrome bumpers, and good paint does little to increase the value of an old '80s Pickup. Unfortunately, that era of trucks are easy and cheap to find as well especially out here on the West side where salt isn't used, I know because I own one of those 80s trucks and it is also rust free, and will soon have a nice coat of paint.

Another thing, federal law prohibits installing an older model engine into a newer mode vehicle. Now you could probably get away with it if it were say a Windsor, diesel, or a 460 but a 351m never came in anything after '81 and if someone wanted to they could make a stink about it.

Basically what it boils down to is that it doesn't matter how much you dump into it, you'll most likely never see a penny of profit.

One other thing, we have a classified section, which is for buying/selling. This is a tech section, please post accordingly...

Jon, In all honesty, you should find an owner.I for one know you cant give it away.that trucks body is clean, along with what was put into the vehicle weather some like it or not,it does count in resale value in the used car business.Heck i paid more for my 79 rolling body with mechanical/electrical issues..but i saw what was invested in the vehicle for a ton of cash was spent on modifications, parts replaced, very clean body ect.then i pieced the vehicle together of its needs in my mind along with a budget figure within my grasp..it all worked out and a classic was saved.that is how one should look for a project vehicle imo.

I honestly think Its worth what im asking for the truck. Im also not in any hurry to sell it.. Id rather sell the engine out of it.. Im trying to get a 6.9L diesel engine. thats what i really want.

Its a good looking truck!

Im curious why you swapped in a 351m?

I think the truck would have likely sold if you left the 460 in it...
Just my opinion. I am curious why you went back in with a 351 though?
