Oh believe me, I love my 8s(302 in my 73 and 390 in the 67), but there is something to be said for the old sixes. The ranchero in my sig has a small block 200 with over 430k miles on it and has never had the head off. Try that with a 8.

Yeah, I agree. My truck had the heads off at 145,000 miles and the cylinders still had hone marks in them.
