geezus you're a smartazz Tex...I'm pretty sure there was a shortbed in one of those links...why don't you make and offer on it...haha. Just be careful, you could poke a hole through any of the body panels with your pinky...and I'm pretty sure I hear the brand new panels rusting away already

I got a fan shroud for my truck from an 80's model van in the junk yard.

Just be careful when using a shroud from another make/model. It's important that the neck of the shroud (on the engine side) JUST larger than the diameter of the fan blades, otherwise the shroud will not be effective at force air through the grill/radiator.

No way in hell would I buy any thing like that from LMC.
But when it comes to knobs and switches stickers body clips, i'll get it from LMC any thing else i'll get off a another old truck or DC..

Yes the dentsides are supposed to come with a fan shrould so does every other car that was ever made unless its new.

Actually I think I read somewhere that not all of the straight-six trucks had shrouds, depended upon A/C or not, but I certainly could be wrong.

That means they're looking for me and want what I got more often.

I agree, but it would still probably do better than no shroud at all.

Neither of my trucks run shrouds. However they both have new radiators. Even down here in the hot GA summers, the 67 with its 390 and four blade fan never even get to pointing straight down. The 73s 302 and 5 blade(ac) barely gets past the part where the line starts.

I do however have the shroud for the 73 and once I fix the 'glass I'll put it back on.

So, in sifting through all of the replies, yes I should have a shroud. I'll try and dig one up at a local yard. I know he has some late 70's models there.
