Fan Shroud

Did the dent sides ever come with a fan shroud? It seems very dangerous without one.

Yes the dentsides are supposed to come with a fan shrould so does every other car that was ever made unless its new.

Definitely should have a shroud...more often than not you'll have cooling problems and overheat if you don't have one...or you won't be able to keep your rig at the preferred temp.

Only dangerous if you put your body near the fan blades, lol. The MAIN purpose of the shroud is to force the air intake THROUGH the radiator, as opposed to just swishing around the air that's already inside of the engine compartment.

For awhile I thought ford didn't put fan shrouds on their trucks, ever 70s model truck I've didn't have a shroud on it..

Yes, your truck should have fan shroud... Who ever had the truck before you probably took it out because he cracked it or something like that... Either that or it was just in the way and he was to lazy to put it back in!
