F350 electrical issues

2004 F350. This all started when a plug going to a black cylinder-looking thing to the right of the steering column labeled "non mem motor" came loose. I popped it back in, no biggie, but suddenly my gas, speedo, oil, temp gauges are dead, radio, power windows, and interior light are dead and no beeping when the key is in the ignition. Truck starts and runs fine, power mirrors and seats work.

I tried to manually switch on the interior light. It does not come on, but suddenly my windows and radio work. I turn the light switch to off and everything's dead again.

The next day the light starts flickering as the truck is making electric noises.

I figure it wouldn't hurt to disconnect the negatives and let the truck sit for the day like that. Both batteries are brand new, 12/12 and 1/13. When I reconnected the negatives, I first connected the January battery. I start the truck to see what happens. Windows and radio suddenly work independently, gauges and interior light are still dead. Truck is beeping its head off with the key in the ig.

I turn the truck off and reconnect December battery. Start truck again and find I am back to square one: radio and windows dead unless I hit the light switch. Forget about the gauges. No beeping.

So now the cab light is essentially a circuit breaker for the radio, windows, and ABS light (which was on before this came up). I am now able to use the gearshift without hitting the brake. Power seats, mirrors, and pedals work independently. Gauges, compass, thermometer dead no matter what. Today there was whirring sound on the right side of the truck under the radio antenna.

I'll take it and have the chargng system checked tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice?
