Pretty sure I know the answer .

Just wondering what differences r in the cross members .
I know the F350 4x2 has coils Like theF150 But what about Crossmember independent diff pivot points?

Are they that same as F150 4x4 ?

Reason I asked is I found a 95 F350 xlt 4x2 frame and crew cab w/short bed. Possible project!!!!:wasntme:

We no longer have any 97 down F350 at work to look at.

Thanks

I can tell you the frame C-channel on the 1-ton is around 3" taller than the 1/2-ton version, so that means the cross members are much bigger as well. However suspension mounting points are similar if not identical, we know you can mount 1-ton springs on a 1/2 ton for example, and all the trucks use the exact same bodies.

Hmmmm and does the boss know about this "Later" project and has signed off onthe plan?

:wasntme: Yes and no. As long as I get the money by selling stuff or side work.
She does not care . If she cared I wouldn't have the parts I got now.
