exhaust questions

I recently bought a summit racing turbo muffler off of a guy at work for $25. It is a single inlet and dual outlet. I have some spare exhaust pipe and wondering how running one out before the tire and using my stock exhaust for the other outlet running it like the stock would. If that makes sense to anybody do you think it would sound bad or would it run/sound like crap because of the difference in distance?

Okay so i need to just run them both out the side? I have enough pipe where i could run duals if I wanted to but my rear gas take is kind of in the way? Would running them out before the tire me much more louder than running the duals?

Here's a pic of mine, exits in front of rear tires, each side. Old mufflers, now have Flowmaster series 40. As for loudness, not much difference, as for cool factor, awesomeness!!!
