I've always felt the same way. Difficult to find places these days, and the only one I know off the top of my head is Conoco that does 100% gasoline.

I Knoxville, Pilot gas kept the price of gasoline down. So Conoco was never more than 3 or so cents more expensive than basically the cheapest gas you could get. And for the extra mileage I was getting it was well worth it. The founder/owner/whatever of Pilot was a UT grad, so he basically controlled the gas market in that area and anyone that wanted to compete had to be close in price.

I get the same always 10-12 with F350 and Bronk, 20 with the stang, 30 with Protege

I think most of that is a fluke of some kind or a miscalculation. I wouldn't write off maybe a 8-12% increase though.

nope. my calculations are exactly correct.

i run my tank from full down to right around 1/4. and in that time i typically depending on how far down i run it get maybe 120-130 miles to a tank and it would normally take me around 11 -11.5 gallons to fill up.

this one i did the same thing i went 143 miles and it only took me 10.1 gallons to fill up. i was still at right around 1/3 of a tank.

I agree that regular gas proves more efficient, but it's not like 35% more efficient. That's all I'm saying. Maybe the filler shutoff turned off early or something. Could be you hit the highway more or things went more smoothly and you didn't pay enough notice.

nope. i made sure that my tank is full like i always do. i didnt hit the highway at all. the only thing i can think of that is different is the truck did a lil bit less sitting and idling like me coming home running back out and leaving but that aint 4mpgs difference. idk why the difference is so large.

but ill stay on the numbers..

That's what I'm thinking and the exact increase I see in vehicles where you can actually notice a difference. You're gonna have to run a few tanks Chris to get a judgement and recalculation. There are lots of factors, for instance, it's been 15* cooler, maybe you hit a little less traffic or a few less red lights, didn't gun it as much...who knows? You'll also have to get exact numbers, not 'right around X' or 'betwen X and Y miles' or 'about this many gallons'.

Here we have Kwik Fill no Ethonol . Same price or less than other major retailers .

I get 2 -3 MPG better there. Truck does not ping like all other places . Proforms better I can feel it not downshift as much and after 200000 miles I know where it wants to do that.

After 2 or 3 tanks of the ethonal gas I get down to 13 mpg . And in one tank see big difference
