For a engine trans Flush I say go for BG products.
And also you can dump in a quart of Type F in to your engine oil and run it a while and then change the oil..

If you run a engine flush you should pull the pan off and clean the oil pump Pickup screen. If the engine is really bad enough to need flushed then crap is going to drop and plug up the screen and starve the engine of oil.
For the tranny just flush with new fluid other snake oils will just shorten the life of the tranny.

If you don't mind spending some money for someone to do a flush for you. See if you can find a shop with a Bilstein engine flush machine. At the old shop I worked at we had one and it worked really well.

Cliff do a good Search on using Type F for a engine flush.
Using Type F is one of the safest and best ways to do a engine flush.

I will. I don't want to do any damage since I don't know how many miles are the engine and it runs so good.

Most engine flushes are basically kerosene with a few other things added to it.
Type F is Oil but its basically Hydraulic Oil its none foaming and loaded out the gills with cleaning additives. it doesn't break lose gum like flushes do it melts them.
I've known road racers to truckers who dump a quart of Type F in after every Oil change.
Engine flushes like BG and Chief flushes will destroy the Oils Lubricating ability's they are about the same as pouring gas in to your oil, that's the same principle they work on.

Also I would highly suggest dropping the Oil Pan any ways, you don't know what could be lurking in that Oil pan, Its a FE engine so it could be full of rocks and still run great..

Last time I flushed the the old 390, it sprung leaks in most of the gaskets. I had to put another 100k on it to seal them back up again..'smiliedoh'
