Hello everyone,
well I'm at my ropes end with this problem and need some advice...
I have a 1995 Ford f250 4x4 with the 5.8L and the issue I'm having is a random blowing of fuse #4 which is the tail lights, dash lights. There no consistency to what cause this fuse to blow. I replace the fuse (its a 15amp) drive down the road 4 miles and it blows, replace it and down the road in any random amount of miles it blows again... just very random which makes finding it a real bear.
I have visually inspected all the wiring and have not seen any stripped or chaffed wires... been under in and over it. I have the dash apart now looking for issues but have not seen anything that would cause issues. Anyone have any ideas or could the headlight switch cause this problem. Looking for some ideas of what to do to figure this out... If it was a constant issue it would be easier to find but since it very random this has been a pain. Thanks in advance.
