E3 Spark plugs?

TexasNomad

Had nothing better to do today so I was wondering around the auto parts store and saw these newish brand of Spark plugs called e3's.
Been looking around online and see allot of people talking about them in small gas engines (Rice Burners) talking about all kinds of power gains and fuel millage gains but couldn't find any thing that really had proof Ie Dyno numbers of real world test..
Any of y'all ever hear of these plugs? what are you thoughts on them?
Might be good Or Snake Water?

Never heard of 'em...but a spark plug is a spark plug.

Maybe fancy coatings will make 'em last longer, and maybe a different design will keep 'em from fouling so fast, or give a slightly better spark, but I cannot believe you'll see any kind of power gain or fuel mileage gain as compared to brand new, conventional spark plugs.

Tex pull the website up.I found it rather interesting.I might be try it myself they did a segment on Horsepower TV using them on a Chevy 350 engine on a dyno and it did show a small improvement in HP and TQ

For the money they are charging for them they better be well worth it and last longer or the word will spread quickly

Well Robert there is only one way to find out.Buy some. I plan to when I get everything I need to change over from points dist to dura spark dist. and tune everything up afterward. So if any members here can buy some and do a before and after comparison with gas mileage and seat of the pants feel that will help

Distributor type ignition, might be okay. Coil pack ign. dont use 'em. The power leaves the coil pack, through the wire, into the center electrode. It jumps to the outer electrode, then through the block to the other plug on that coil. From here, it goes from the outer electrode, to the inner electrode, and back through the wire to the coil. Thats why when you pull loose a plug wire, you have 2 plugs misfiring. These systems measure voltage. Any changes, and you have problems. Exotic plugs even advertise more voltage.
