Anyone (Skan), have any pictures of how they installed their E fan to the radiator? Thanks

All you use is bolts that are ~1/8 inch thick to go through the fan and raidiator. On the radiator side put a nut and a big washer (at least an inch wide). On the fan side, look at the mating surface and get an properly sized washer. Installation kits usually have all this in made of plastic, I used stainless steel hardware.

I used the plastic kind and it works perfect, no use messing with bolts and such. Its basically like a cylindrical zip-tie:

I just picked some up at Kragen for 6 or 7 bucks. I'll go out and take some pics right now.

The bottom of the radiator has 2 metal tabs where the stock fan shroud USED to be resting. You can rest the bottom of the fan in these clips and use the zip-tie jobbies at the top.

aaaaa thanks for the picks you guys. i think il go with the bolt style. These fans are heavy, and with the off roading i seldom do id like to make sure those plastic clips dont break. Not saying they would.

Thats this weekends project. Thanks all for the help!

No, I think he was asking because my radiator is on the wrong end of the truck. A stock pump works just fine.

Yup. The easiest way to keep it from getting clogged by mud and from the driver putting holes in it ramming things...

Off-road trucks, especially mud trucks, almost always have the fan mounted in the bed so it doesn't clog up with mud and crap.

The ones that don't... soon will. :D
