Hey there,
After band aiding my 84 F 250 for the last few years, now it’s time to get serious. The old guy left me on the side of a freeway pulling 3 tons of dirt with a rented trailer, 2 days before Christmas.
Fuel delivery problems. Last time I get stranded!
Let me start with one question
Source for electric fuel pumps with sending unit, and will a Dorman sending unit work with a Carter pump

Rock Auto often has everything, otherwise Bronco Graveyard, Jeff Carpenter. You are in one of the tougher years to get anything off the beaten path. Often you can add an electric outside the tank using the factory sender.

I’m just in the process of removing the front tank, skid plate, and with 40 years of rust and road debris, I’m inventing new cuss words.
