Got to figure something on this and going to start on it today.
With the plastic panels off you can see the horizontal metal
rib flop to beat hell when the door is slammed shut "normally".
It sucks donkey dick and makes for a sloppy sound with the
plastic panel installed. I'm going to screw the plastic panels
on at some point but not right now, one problem at a time.
(not sure whether I'll use jack-nuts or sheet metal U-nuts)
So anybody out there fix their gen-8 pickup doors that I can
copy your method and/or improve on?
