long time no see ya'll sorry i aint been postin much recently iv been caught up busy with some things. ive got a small question about a driver door latch on my 96 f360 crewcab, it broke a couple days ago and i cant open it from the inside i gotta reach outside, its not the cable causing the issue my friend and i have decided its the latch itself, and i was wondering if i could pull this latch off any gen 8-9 with pwr windos n door locks, or would manual setup be okay too? and am i confined to just gen 8-9 or can i go back to gen 7 and it still work?

I believe the physical latch is the same between all the 92-96.

I think they also use the same latches in the Gen8's......you sure the metal where the handle mechanism bolts to didn't tear like mine did?

im sure, its the latchiv checked it all out and the latch just has a hard time releasing when opened from the inside and some times just wont open, i think ill hit up the junkyards tomorro
