I also painted straight down along the headlights to see what that would look like.... It was too dark to take a pic so I will have more tomorrow. Don't think I like it though...

Not my personal preference having a black or other colored hood. I always think it is a replacement hood they never got around to painting.

Have similar take as Smokey.

Out of the two I like the second one better.

IMO leave a strip on the hood that matches the fender color and split the section in between the grill and the headlights. Believe the Boss is done like that.

My truck was white and I hated the glare, rattle canned the hood matte black, I don't care what people think, for all they know I'm the po-po, lol. That said, I personally liked the white above the head lights, but oh-well, hope it turns out to your satisfaction.

That was my main concern, the sun was a ***** in my eyes!

I don't mind the sun glare. That just makes me smile to know I have a clean shiney white truck
