Dex-Cool in a Ford engine?

Has anyone accidentally or purposefully used Dex-Cool in a Ford engine? I was a bit low on coolant yesterday and while I was standing at the back of the truck, my dad proceded to pour Dex-Cool into the overflow tank. 'smiliecrazy' Haven't had overheating problems, or freezing problems for that matter (hasn't been above 30 since then).

Thanks.

Good...and if it's mixed with the green stuff? (4.0L SOHC Explorer, everything was the green stuff except the tank, so I'd figure it was a fairly high green to orange ratio)

Thanks for the help!

Dex cool and the gold coolant are extended life. If green is mixed in, with either one, the usable life is lessened to the life of the green (30k)
