Dash Lights Not Working

I was driving today and my dash lights went out. Played with the switch a bit and it wouldn't come on. The outside lights work along with the interior turn indicators and warning lights on start up. The display back light for the radio also goes out when lights are on, but with turning the switch to the off position it goes back on. I tried messing with it more when I got home and I got them to come on for a split second. The fuse is fine. Is it the headlight switch going out?

I had the same issue in the superduty. I replaced the switch and it seems to be the fix.

Pretty sure it's the switch. If I put it in an exact position the lights work.
