Other than compound what can I do to get the scratches without having to buy a new one?
I also need to fix the gear selector cable it broke again so Superglue didn't hold it. Any idea of what glue to use?

That is the lens.

Foe the lens fgo to a bike shop they have stuff that you recondition your visors with that should work to get those scratches out.
The Glue to use is called Tech-bond Glue it's good stuff.http://www.tech-bond.net/

They have a lot of glue there. Which one should I get? Bike shop as in Motorcycles or bicycles?

I have the Blue and the activator and the filler. I also have the poly prep but haven't used it yet not sure how good it works. but the other has held stuff other glues haven't

Thank Randy, I have to say it looks expensive. $15.95 for a kit isn't bad.

the prep room kit the basic one is like 20 bucks but it lasts a long time and one repair pays for it.

Medical usage? And that works on this hard plastic.

Yep I have glues up computer cases and switches that have to flex the plastic and it has held it where every other glue has failed.

Don't remember what the gear indicator cable is like on those... On my GM I replaced it with 60lb test braided fishing line... worked good.

Mequires Platic x works well...Use a polishing pad on a drill to help it a lil more
