Dakota Digital Gauge Help

Hello all, I have a 1978 F150 Ranger Lariat, I installed a set of the digital gauges from Dakota. Everything is working great but the Speedometer. I have followed the instructions to calibrate the speedometer, however, it still fluctuates a lot. I have no idea how fast I am going it jumps all over. Any ideas?

It would seem you have a bad signal, whether from a bad sensor or connection problem can't be said without testing.

Have you contacted Dakota Digital for technical help? They may be able to walk you through the diagnosis.

Did the old speedo do the same thing? The speedo cable may need some lubrication, or is binding.
