Couple questions??

They shouldnt move at all. the hub is COMPLETLY disengauged from the axle shafts. Well at least every truck ive seen never spin, even when going down the highway..

Larry is correct-- they do spin just a little bit due to friction; not much.

I zip tie mine to my axle housing, and when i want four wheel drive i just push the button and it snaps the zip ties off! Bada bing bada boom
