Well I talked with my personal trainer tonight and got set up on a schedule. I weighed in tonight at a miserable 260 lbs... (FAT ***!)

We did an assesment and that liked to kill me. LOL

Here is my goal...

200 lbs by Oct. Should be able to achieve it, its gonna be TOUGH and Jeff said he is going to be tougher! LOL I need to get this weight down I have NEVER weighed this much before and this IS NOT acceptable. I have had a ****ing headache for 3 months now and I know with my mom dying at such a young age that is time for me to get my *** in shape. So hopefully we can get the blood pressure down and get to a healthy weight before too much longer.

Bye bye 2 big macs and a large fry for lunch! LOL hello salads!

Gotta keep telling myself it is for my kids, I don't want them to have "the fat guy" for a father!

Ever since my injuries/surgery I have been way less active, and I can see the effects and I don't like it. I wish I could run, I am just waiting for the ice to melt so I can get back on my bike again.

Good for you Doc. I've been trying to dump a few pounds too. Starting the office job and not having to walk around for meals and classes caught up to me in a hurry.

Winter is the worst for exercise, because it limits your outdoor activities... :(

True, i am not over weight by any means, but i am horribly out of shape...

Doc eating better for you foods doen't mean eating salad all the time, but the burgers and fast food should go for sure...

Cut the carbos and taters is what my doctor told me and Dad. I lost 10 pounds so far by just walkin the dogs with dad ever day and eatin less.

I have actually lost alot of weight, im 30lb's lighter than i used to be. Im unnaturally skinny, need to get back to my football size...
Hey doc if you feel like comin out, its a reason to road trip in the truck when its back together, plus you can come lift with me! :)

I haven't gained any weight, but with not being mobile, I can tell how out of shape I am. I hate stairs! :D That's why I like my bike, I get the cardio with out the impact on my knees.

I need to drop about 10-15 pounds i fattened up over the winter. With all the snow I haven't been outside near as much and packed on the pounds. I can easly drop 10 -20 pounds in about 2 weeks. I just start training like I am getting ready for a boxing match and the pounds drop off pretty fast.
Good luck on the effort and don't eat nothing but saldad or you will give up.small portions 2-3 hours apart to keep your metabolism up works best, at least for me and you don't fell like you are starving yourself.

Just hang around me- between my exercise and eating habits, I'd have that weight peeled off in no time. Or I can Fed Ex the dog back there. He does about 2-3 miles a day in seriously hilly country. Be about 5-6 miles in your neck of the woods. :)

i hear ya man, ive been doing the same thing for a few months. i cut any and all caffeine from my diet...no coffee, no soda, no energy drinks..nothing. only thing i drink is water, milk and juice, and the occasional beer maybe 3 every other weekend.

i try and work out 3 days a week for a minimum of an hour each time. i run a mile do 2-3 sets of whats called the circuit and then try and run another mile. im looking to drop 20-30 pounds by August myself. i also cut all snacks, candy, cookies , cakes and such out of my diet as well....so far i couldn't be happier

Ok guys just a little update...

I have been cutting things out of my diet now. I have deleted the soda completly. Accidently had a sip of my daughters one night and now they taste like CRAP! funny how that works. I have cut back to UNsweetened tea and water. A very little bit of milk(THAT sucked the most, I used to drink 6-7 gallons a week, now only one maybe!)

My trainer is awesome and is kicking my *** every night i train! Here is a vid of the new workout "toy" he has and yes this is my fat *** on it!

I know but that thing killed me! and agian tonight! LOL I was 260 and shooting for 200 so we shall see!

Congrats Doc...glad you're still busting your ***. I decided to start an office workout group. We don't do anything together, but we all throw $20 in the pot. At the end 1/2 the money goes to the most weight lost and half the money goes to most fat % drop. Figure there's about 150 folks doing this...some one is gonna get a nice little bonus.
