In all honesty Brad the 2brl deal makes me think hmmm other than that cop car or not these rides were getting just broke in at 100k.had an 88 vic that went past 250k before i called it quits.for the record it was EFI

They didn't do 351's carb'd after 87 unless it was something specific to the cop cars

vin checks out to be a 351W.....

idk... this is got me all F'd up...
cause it also has a AOD behind it... which were never typically factory behind a 351W... C6's were and E4OD's were...

did not know that.. neat thing to know now...

but still doesnt answer my wonder about the AOD... like i said to my knowledge were never put behind 351's... only 302's as far as V8's go...

DOnt feel bad i do to....Something about a Full Frame Sedan with a V8 that gets my blood pumpin....once upon a time i had a 99 PI Vic...god i miss that car......

But anyways....

If i had to guess at it the reason they used the AOD (and that def is an AOD, it has O/D and the E4OD wouldnt work with a Carbed engine), it prolly had to do with Clearance issues, I dont think a C6 would have fit in the trans tunnel, and like i said eariler the E4OD wouldnt of worked with a Carbed engine....and the C4 was out of production by 90....
