I am sorry if this has been addressed before but I need to figure this out. I purchased a 2000 F350 a little over a month ago and had nothing but problems since. The truck does have 179,000 miles so I know some things are to give but this is driving me crazy!! First I blew the front pump seal backing a 14' dump trailer... Fixed with Super HD Torque Converter, rebuilt tranny, with a shift kit. Then I had warped rotors so I put all new rotors, pads, and hardware on.
Now, after pulling the trailer back home with the skid steer on it I was losing coolant coming from the passenger side, engine side of the firewall, dripping on the leaf springs (It was green so I know it was coolant). Now I know the heater core is there but wouldn't that dump coolant from the inside? I pulled it in the garage the next day and let it run for over 30 min and couldn't get it to leak anywhere, not even from the lines running into the heater core. My next step I guess is to go have the coolant system pressure tested and see if there is a leak unless anyone has any other ideas.
Need to try and fix this myself because my wife is about to kill me since I have done nothing but dump money at this since I got it!!
Please Help!
Thanks
Michael
