Why are concept cars ALWAYS unrealistic and almost always ugly as hell? Why do car companies do this? Why not make a concept that is actually attainable and marketable?!

I have noooooooo clue. Seems to me they could save alooooooooooot of money if they cut out the ridiculous designs and put that same towards improving something they actually have, or could have in the near future.
