Recently had the tranny rebuilt and I put in a newer motor just after that, but it seems as though the stall in the converter is somewhere between 1600-2000 rpm's. Is that normal for a 99f350 with 5.4 liter 4wd. It seems as though the motor is screaming. if so is it wise to put in a converter with a lower stall.
