Clear coat damage

This is what the snow did to my truck. It had a little bubbling before the winter, nothing major. First pic is of the roof and the other two are of my hood from the front and side, same spot.

Any pointers on how to fix this. I don't have the extra cash to bring it in so I'll have to do it myself.

Short of a repaint, I don't really know of a way to fix that. I have a little spot starting on the roof of the '95. I wax it with Meguiars every couple of months, and it hasn't gotten any worse. That's about all you can do to slow the deterioration.

"Delamination."
Back to the early days of water-based paint.
x2 on the "delamination" part. :)

"Snow didn't cause that.. the sun and temperature fluctuation caused it"

x2 on that part too, I figure.

Got that on my '91 Bronco because someone got it repainted! :(
The factory paint (under the repaint) is much nicer looking paint.
Same goes for the original paint (Wimbledon White) on my '75.

What's that about "water based paint" tho?
