Chevy guy about to convert...

Hey fellas, cherokeedawg240 sent me here. He told me this was a good place to get some info on buying a ford. I'm selling my silverado reg cab in favor of something with four doors. I'm not sure if it will be an f 150 or 250 but I don't think it will be a chevy this time around. But I just thought I'd drop in and say hey.

Condition Hopeless Entire Vehicle Rengineered from Old Leftover Engine Technology. But I digress.

Ha thanks for the welcomes. I'm not converted yet- theres still a chance I might keep the old chevy. But I'm looking at 04 and up 150's and 99-03 250's. I drove an 03 250 with the 6.0 today. Honestly I wasn't impressed. It didn't have the power I was expecting and the dang thing was all over the road. It took constant corrections just to keep it goin semi straight. I'm not knocking all things blue oval. I just didn't like that one lol. But man those 150 king ranches are sweet.

Welcome to the non-bailout side!

Well I've decided to keep the chevy for now, we just can't deal with the payments right now. But I'll be looking hard at ford for my next truck when the time comes. I rode in a newer crew cab chevy this weekend and I wasn't impressed. The back seat barely had any more room than my 2002 ext cab I had. Plus chevy now has that 4 cylinder mode or whatever it's called that's standard on the 5.3. I just don't want that junk on my truck. I buy a v8 expecting v8 power and I want it to be simple, the less stuff to tear up.the better. Ford doesn't have that, do they?
