Okay guys, refresh my memory. 2004 Grand Marquis, mom left the gas cap off after refueling. It set a check engine light. She tightened the gas cap. How many start cycles before the check engine light goes out after a loose gas cap?

You can disconnect the battery for 5 min to clear it faster.

Oh yeah there is that method too. It was a long day yesterday and it slipped my mind.

They just have to reset radio presets afterwords.
