Certified my first one in a while. Geez....they changed a few things! Its now 169 points, as opposed to 115 like last time. Gonna have to ask for more pay to do them!

Performance, looks, all the bells and whistles. Compression, fuel pressure, previous damage. Essentially, it has to be "like new" condition.

I all ways thought it just meant no major body damage kick the tires kinda inspection.

You get that done, then Ford warranties it, not just the dealer.

Today was a Focus (customer could only get financed if it was certified). I'll do anything Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury.

Wow...I'd have guessed more like half that.

Not that I think Fords are in any worn out at 6 years/80k miles, but...

*I'm thinking if I ever buy a used Ford from a dealer...it'd be worth thinking about paying $4-600 to ask them to certify it.
