LONE STAR!!!!!! They brew that rancid stuff in the basement of the Clydesdale stables!

Brad, your just a hater cause you cannot see the pictographs to figure them out anymore. $3 readers will correct this problem and you may again enjoy the real beer flavor that is Lone Star. smilieeatndrink

Ok since none of you have ever used a real carb, I am suggesting either Dellorto DLRA's or Webber downdrafts. Way more tunable than any holley or edelbrock. The intake might be a trick, but if it was easy, well you know the rest..... Stay away form holley unless you like working on them all the time. Especially if your novice at best in the carb department. If that was the case, go with the edlebrock and forget it.

Yeah but im not quite all convinced it's the carb now. The truck is running too well in my opinion. I am thinking a good tune/time and possibly a new gasket on the manifold would do the trick

Didn't they stop making those like in the 40s?

Had one on my Harley. (side draft DHLA) Took a little reading and a couple phone calls, but you talk about extremely tunable. 5 tunable circuits, 1 fixed, and several combinations of choke tubes for velocity. It almost makes a gearhead want look like Chris in his nair picture. "Creaming himself"

Oh and dyno sheets to prove the gains.

Italy and the U.S. Ebay. Great dude in Italy who will set up an auction just for you exactly what you want, add extras in the box, viola, no 7x's the mark up from U.S. distributers.

You could probably get 3 matching number drla's 45 or 48 mm jetted and choked the way you want for around $400 plus shipping.

that would be the equivilant of a 3 deuce setup that would work about 4 times better than any of the U.S. tri power setups.
