Cam in a crate motor?

Is there any way to find out what kind ( flat tappet or roller ) cam is in a Ford Crate motor? And what kind of lift it has? No there no packing slip any more.

Well I would have to go back to the guys house. I was just wondering what to look for. He did say it was a Factory Ford Crate engine. Its a 5.8 ? What else.

Tell me what to look for.

I belive that all crate ford 5.8 came with either a Crane hydraulic roller cam or a Z303 hydraulic roller cam. anywhere between .300 to .345 on lobe lift and .480 to .552 on valve lift. heres an idea on price... anywhere from $7600 to $8600.

What about 1500 and an inline 6 with a truck body too?
