If your good with the plasma cutter I would use it. Nothing like getting to use a nice plasma cutter.

Well, a multi-welder is on my list of things to get, but I have to build up my arsenal slowly. Have all the hand tools and power tools I think I need, just need a good welder.

I want a plasma cutter but the one I am looking at is about 4K and I hate to part with my money. The cheap ones just won't cut it(pun intended) for what I would use it for.
I have stick and mig welders but a plasma is on my must have tool list just under the car lift for the garage.

I have a Miller 375 plasma cutter and its the best thing too cut any kind of metal. And if you good with it you dont have any clean up.

Just to be certain here... I ordered a set of Prothane poly cab mount bushings for my 1970 F100 lwb 2wd. The kit, 6-110, contains 12 bushings, which would mean this kit is for 3 sets of cab mounting positions. To be certain, from examining myself I only saw 2 sets of cab mounting positions on the truck. Can someone confirm...

Just got off the phone with Prothane and they said that if there are only 4 cab mounting positions (8 bushings) then the remaining are for the radiator support. Can someone confirm that there are only 4 cab mounting positions on the 1970 F-100 regular cab 2wd? I have looked under that sucker and all I found was 4 mounts..

AFAIK, there are two in the front, 2 in the back.

That is what I thought. The front ones are right behind the front fender well, and the back ones are under the in-cab gas tank. Well, looks like I will be replacing the radiator supports as well... Have been looking for a reason to drain the radiator. Looks like now I will have the chance.

Ford Edsel, danggit! :/

"FE" is an acronym for 'Ford-Edsel'. Versions designed for use in trucks and
school buses were known as "FT", an acronym for 'Ford-Truck', and differed
primarily by having steel (instead of nodular iron) crankshafts, larger crank
snouts and different distributors. -Wiki
