I'm not to hot on salvage titles. From the small flag the corner I'm guessing your in the UK, am I correct?

The flag is a language designator; and x2 on the salvage title, on a toy no big deal but a DD there is better options..

Personally, I have nothing against salvage titles...I've bought some good rigs that had salvage titles. Just because it has a salvage title does not mean the vehicle is junk. The Jeep I bought for my brother has a ST on it, it was a wrecked grille shell and fender...replaced those and painted, looks good as new and never had any issues for the 4 years we've had it. The explorer we just picked up for my mother has a salvage title on it...same thing, it was a side swipe, but the PO replaced the affected doors and had the whole rig repainted...so far so good. MY gf's parents have a Taurus Wagon with a salvage title...it was a coastal car with water damage, they've had it for 10 years with no issues. And there are plenty of vehicles through the years my family has owned with a salvaged title...and I can't recall any of those vehicle being any more problematic than the same car without a ST. That said, you'll wanna get the history of the vehicle and give it a thorough inspection.

Not to mention, in North Carolina at least, there is an inspection process that can be done to redeem an actual title.

As for the site...don't know anything about it...but it kinda looks like an AutoTrader type of deal.

I did a search, and a whole bunch of Copart stuff comes up. It looks like they're a registered broker, and they buy salvage cars from places like Copart and you buy from the broker, paying them the price of the vehicle, broker fees, and interest and all that other fun stuff.

As for Salvage Vehicles, there's nothing wrong with buying one. Mom's old Cavalier was a salvage vehicle. It ran fine for 40,000 miles. The only thing wrong with it was that whoever fixed it before we got it didn't pull the inner fender out all the way, so getting a serpentine belt tool in the space to remove the belt was impossible. But as Ben said, get a history on it. Pay close attention to how it was maintained. Any service records? Not all records will show up, but if there's a few that do, there's a good chance it's been taken care of.
