As you can see she started life out as a 1979 not a 76
Paid a smooth grand and drove her home (barely counts right)
Someone had made an ill attempt to put a 351M in the truck. Shoulda fit but not quite.Hack job!
Came stock with a 6 cylinder
This as low as these trucks will go with no modifications (and flat tires...) but beleive me you wouldn't want to drive it this way!
Cut the floor and set the cab back on
my $200 donor truck. I nabbed the engine 360 Fe the C-6 and numerous other parts off this truck and sold it for scrap for $200 ...breaking even...PRICELESS!
Speaking of my 360 ...before Chrome and Edelbrock
After chrome valve covers Edelbrock intake and 600 Carb
back halfed and 4-linked Frame all fabbed in my shop
Start of the metal work in my bed
not quite finished product
Custom built aluminum phantom grille (No i won't build you one)
Cut the bottom off of the factory dash and slicked it of with sheetmetal, white face gauges with raised ovals Built and covered the console with manual air valves built in to control the ride height
Bag setup in the front
my brother works at the local airport so I was fortunate to get these cool shots
