any set of buckets from 80-96 F-series or bronco will work the easiest, you will have to drill some mounting holes for the inside brackets on the buckets, but the outside brackets should use the old mounting holes if im not mistaken.

Chris pretty much explained it.However, the seat tracks are different On Broncos due to a different Floor pan,so if you get Bronco seats, you'll need to get some F-Series bucket seat tracks and bolt them under the Bronco Seats.

Ya got any pics of the 81?

The aftermarket seats I have in the 86 utilize a frame that bolts up at the stock location, then the buckets bolt to that and use their own track.

I've got the same set up with Corbeau's in my Bronco.

Only thing I would like to point out is seats from 73-96 are all swappable...not just 80-96. I also believe seats from 80's econolines will work. These are your easiest options. That being said, anything can be made to work relatively easily...just comes down to a little drilling.

The E series seats are on pedestals, so would be too high on their own, would have to be taken off the pedestals to be used. The driver's side is the only one that is adjustable, the passenger side is fixed. I have, on some other projects, taken the seat tracks a bench and put them under a single bucket. That of course requires tracks from two bench seats, then I made that work. Might have to do a little work leveling them up, but it is possible to do something like that as well.

The E series seats are pretty much the same from mid 1970's to early 2000's.
