ok, mine was a COMPLETE rebuild as well, they DID NOT replace the solenoid pack or valve bodies.. as i said, complete usually means planetarty gear and clutch plates.

if they replaced the valve body and pack, well they migh as well have just given you a whole new tranny

mechanic pulled the codes and the code was a converter clutch (no signal).

Thinking its a wiring problem.

Huh? When I had a converter clutch code it just made my shifts TERRIBLY stiff. Never slipped at all... Although you may have that clutch code, I think the slipping is from something else... Possible a bad TC.

Yeah I believe no signal is what mine said too, and it just gave extremely firm shifts--- no slipping.

How do you know the TC is new? Did he say so, or did you put it in?

Hmph... I don't know the guy so I don't have much room to question his accountability... But if the transmission is slipping, I'd be suspicious that the TC was not replaced. Did you request to see the old parts?

ill probably ended up chatting with him tommorow. IM tyring to get my multi meter from my old roommate. You dont by chance have a schematic for this?

He also said it wasnt a for sure being the problem, he still has to follow through on it.

i would bet that he would have replaced it, beside she did a bunch of work for pratically nothing. Like re-welding my drive shaft and balancing it. and yolk.
No install cost on ujoint. no cost of fluids

The wire for the TCC is the purple/yellow-tracer wire coming from the transmission harness. It's easiest to find it on the driverside wheel well, if you trace the wire loom up from the transmission.

The wire gets grounded when the computer tries to lock the TCC.

im think theres and open to ground or something.

Maybe the wire got brittle ande cracked and vibrations make it loose contact

just talked to them, Looking like a solenoid or a break in a wire still. All under warranty, But they are fearing pulling it again and sending it back down there so the tranny shop can re-rebuild it the right way.

My mechanic is pissed
