hello im new to this site i am working on a 1979 ford f100 that belongs to my dad trying to get this thing runing right it will only run if u run a wire from the battery to the coil also it is not chargeing there are a few wires that are un hooked dont know were they go one is a tan color it is by the selonoid not hooked to any thing the next one is a big black one next to the tan one it is un hooked and then their is a small black one by the regulator that is un hooked and by the alt comeing out of the harness is a tan onewith a fusable link that is un hooked please help im trying to fix this truck up for my dad he has had this truck for a long time i drove it when i was in high school it has a 86 5.0 engine in it with a c6 trans and 3 inch pipes with flowmaster mufflers
