body work! and stage 2 weight reduction 56K warning

ok so i trucked over to keene NH to a buddy's house yesterday and we decided to do the bodywork on my truck.....problem was we never actually did any body work haha we went to the liquor store grabbed a bottle of jack and a 6 pack of smithwicks, some chips and a 12 pack of Coke. then we started the tear down! first we took of the door then took out the seat then folded the carpet back, ripped off the old rocker, took off the left front fender. then we cut most of the rust out of the floor. after that we used some aircraft paint thinner stuff (wicked strong!) to take off the paint on the floor. after doing all this and me drinking most of the jack bottle we realized it was 1:30am.....haha and we didnt have all the stuff we needed to finish the job right. so we put everything back together and we are going to tackle it all next weekend and put my new door on as well. here is the destruction haha

and to think we got this far and just put it all back together! haha
ill have more pics when i do all the body work next week

Too bad you can't leave it parked so you can get it all done. At least you know how much repair work you will have to do.

well the rust was a weight reduction in general. im sure i gained 1.2 seconds in the 1/4 mile
