I have a 1973 F100.
The blinkers on this truck work but they are dim when they blink, and kind of a fast pulse. I've been reading some posts and it seems that wires/corrosion/grounding seems to be the answer.
I haven't replaced the flasher unit because it is a separate flasher for the blinkers and the emergency flashers, but they do the same think (blink dim and quickly) so I think it's unlikely that both flashers are bad.
Because of that, I think it has something to do with the grounding.
I'm assuming that because it does it at all 4 corners, it isn't a local grounding issue per light, but something closer to the flasher.
Does that make sense? If so, where would be the best place to check/replace the ground?
Other ideas?
Thanks!
