Blinker cancelation?

ok so my truck doesnt have the blinker cancal when you straighten the wheel after a turn. never had it since i bought the truck 3-4 years ago. do the generation 8 trucks have a blinker cancel? i havent had time to pull the column apart yet. thanks for the help

It has it, but it's prone to going out. I haven't had in in my truck for the whole 5 years I've owned it.

It should, I think.

My aunt's '89 has it for left turns; the right blinker doesn't stay on unless you hold the stalk.

The replacement multifunction switch I put in my Ranger stopped canceling after a week or so, and I've been too lazy to pull the column apart and see if I can fix it. Now that I'm used to it, I think I actually like it better...

Yeah me too. I get in other cars and catch myself trying to cancel the blinker myself.
