best 3/4 axle

ey i just decided to turn my flare into a off road king. what axle would slip rip in to the d44 ifs place easily with little or no problems/modifications? looking into a 3/4 solid keeping it ford only. and adding maybe 2 more inches to the suspension. i got the ifs cheap *** almost out going to finish the job.

D44 is half tons d60 is one ton, both are solid front axles.

yea i think everyone knows that. but what solid axle would need little or next to no mods to fit.? from both d44 and d60.

I'd do a coil sprung D44HD with the 8 lug outers....Or you could weld some coilspring buckets onto the 60 and throw it under there.
